I thought they changed the rules

Really upset with the Red Cross in Joplin MO I know they have a million zillion problems but they are making all those with pets turn the pets over to a shelter which I think is wrong. People have lost everything now they want to take pets away too some are little dogs like Pomeranian s , Chihuahua's even cats the article was in our newspaper here in Tulsa. One person said they were going to come in a forcible take the pets to the shelter.This one poor woman had been in Katerina had a Pomeranian uses a scooter to get around on her apartment would not be re-built for some months. I thought when Katerina happened they said pets were allowed to stay with their people???? Like some one said in the newspaper article some lost their pets after they were put in the shelters and never got them back..???

Todays newspaper said it was a mistake they get to keep their pets I was very happy to hear that.

Thank God - I had heard the same after Katrina and was shocked to think that would happen!

Glad first news was being corrected, hoping for more solutions to what the victims are facing, especially for pets..
