I don't want to be the voice of doom and gloom.. but i already miss the old format.  There is something about the chat format that I prefer.  I'm worried that we'll end up like dachsie.org.  Not that I despise that board, but it's become really impersonal.

Comments?  Thoughts?

You can still see the list of threads regardless of topic area by clicking on the "Show unread posts since last visit." link next to your greeting message at the top left of the page, or the "View the 10 most recent posts on the forum." near the bottom of the page under the "Forum Stats" heading. :thumb:

Doom and gloom hardly.  With the added features of the user gallery, user map,  and integrated chat it's gonna be hard not to keep up to date with goings on.

This is the most helpful thing yet. Just what I was looking for. Thanks!  :apls:

Amy,

I don't want us to become like that other board either, and that was my primary concern when considering the switch.  Ultimately though, I believe it is our members that make our board great and not actually where we post, or in what format.

If we all keep posting with the same care, support, information and wit that we always have, I believe Wiener Writings will still have the "family feel" that we have all grown to love.

I forgot to mention - we are still committed to NO selling of puppies, dogs or stud services on this board.  Also, we have agreed not to have too many forums, but rather to try and keep it pretty simple in that regard.

:badidea: This is important, and in fact is part of the member agreement during the registration process. :evil5: If a member is found to be in violation of this I will nuke the account. :violent5:   :police:
