But you know what she did?  She took me on walkies-dats the fun part-TO DA GROOMER!  The Groomer said I was a very good girl for my pedicure and she even cleaned out my stinky ears!  I guess I didn't mind her.  I was very still and didn't fuss at all.  The FUN part, though, is the walkie.  So many good smells on this sunshiney day and really good stuff to roll in.  I LOVE to roll in things.  It's my favoritest thing to do...besides lick the couch.

All 5 of us in Illinois went to the groomers this morning as well.

My six got some at-home grooming this week.  Nails got done, and feetsies and ears trimmed up on the longhairs.  The two puppies are showing this weekend, so they get to suffer the indignity of a bath and blow dry on Thursday.  Should be interesting to see how the drama queen (Cricket) reacts to THAT!

Let us know how Cricket does in her first show.  Drama Queen, huh?  Do tell.

Graham Crackers, did you have to put your toesies in the SNOW?  I hope you are snuggly warm now.

Bonnie beware anytime the momma says "goferwalk" it can mean many many things, some good, some bad. Today I went on a goferride to the vet and got stuck in the back of the neck with a needle! Then Momma made me lay down at home on my side and she scraped my teef. I am exhausted!

Mom says Bonnie was a VERY good girl to hold still for the groomer, and that you deserve extra eggies for that.

Yesterday must have been the day for "grooming" or other events for our furkids at the groomers or vets.  I was going to take Sarge in yesterday to get his nails trimmed but he got a reprieve....he will go in today.  I had called yesterday morning to see about getting him in...we had a 1 pm appointment but at 11 am, one of our elderly neighbor ladies called and she was not feeling well.  She said that she had been not feeling well for four days and yesterday, she became really scared.  Said she had called her doctor, who said they couldn't get her in until February!   She called her daughters about taking her to Urgent Care....they couldn't take the time to do so.  She called us and said she didn't know what to do......her voice and tone alone put me on alert.  I said I would take her to emergency.  So a quick call to the Vet's office and Sarge is rescheduled for today to get his nails trimmed.  Yesterday, I was at the hosptial emergency with our neighbor for six hours....through EKG's, CAT scans, and a bunch of other tests.   They initially thought she was having a heart attack but through all the testing, she was diagnosed with a very bad UTI.  One of her daughters finally showed up about a half hour before she was discharged!

What is it with these little furbabies and licking the couch? (and clothes and bedding and any exposed skin)
