I think Hilde is over the hump.  She ate good this morning and had a BM!  :apls:  My vet is going to take another X ray today, and if the air has cleared from around her lungs she will be able to go to Michigan with me for Christmas.   I'll let you know how that turns out when I get her home this afternoon.  Thanks for all the great WW healing rays for my girl.

Sending prayers and rays now for the emotional healing that she needs. With your love, I'm sure she will be just fine. She knows that you stepped in to protect her and save her and I think that will make a huge difference in how she recovers from this.
As long as there aren't other dogs in Michigan, I think the trip will be the best thing for her. She needs to be with her mamma and feel secure. I still want to go and strangle a pit bull myself...
