Jeeves say hello and save me from the holidays!

Jeeves and I have been lurking but after being pointed here by both Joey and Maggie's site and Baxter, we had to check it out again and officially arrive.  Jeeves is my coy boy living the city life in a downtown Chicago condo.  Today is an early Christmas madness day--big parade that starts BEHIND OUR HOUSE and lights marks the lighting of all holiday decorations.
So we are looking forward to freaking out at all the music--high school band and otherwise--that will accompany this display.

I'm Vicki, Mom to Bambi, Jewels, Sammy Boy, Pixie and Leonardo (he's a Whippet).  Do you take pictures of the festivities?  If so, we'd love to see them!!

You know I don't have any pics, so take it for granted that floats and general madness will reign every year that I've never photographed it!  The past couple of years we have stayed inside cause it really has gotten overwhelming.  Between the music, crowds, and helicopters buzzing above, Jeeves needed to try and calm down under blankets in the house.
I do want to take pics of the lights this year so will try to get my Jeevester involved.
