Iowa Tornados - Geez

Ten towns hit; 1 death.  Dallas and Hamilton counties have been declared disaster areas.  A twister was visible from buildings at Iowa State University, prompting them to empty out Jack Trice stadium right before the ISU - Colorado game.

We are supposed to get snow tomorrow night.

We were at the UNI-Dome (University of Northern Iowa) for the UNI-Southern Illinois game, when the word was passed about ISU.  I kept wondering what I'd do if a tornado struck the dome.....

At any rate, things could have been much worse.

The good news is that the big three (Iowa, Iowa State, and UNI) football teams will see post-season action.  With no big-time professional team in the state, we tend to go completely nuts over college sports.
