Strange lady in shower, Flamenco dancing and Salsa, Pyrenees adventurer.....Red

Bon soir, mes amis,

After surprising the next door lady whilst she was in the shower in her room in Burgundy the Management suggested I should keep patrolling duties to my own suite....so I decided it was time to leave for pastures new and navigated us to Nimes.

We arrived just in time for the opening party for the wine festival and had free food, free drinks and free Flamenco dancing and Salsa dancing till late.  Islay and I got to mingle and the chorizo and ham tapas were great.  I did bark at the flamenco box and all those clattering feet too, nobody seemed to mind and gave me more Ham and sausages to keep me quiet.  Funny how they have Spanish fiestas in France...

Islay loves the salsa and got a real little wiggle going but does not like dancing with strangers so Dad had to dance with her when the salsa performers put her down from the stage.

I got to "christen" the walls of the Roman amphitheatre and Theatre - nothing like a bit of culture.

We slept like rocks and hiked over the Pyrenees today (slight exaggeration for poetic licence, my legs are too short so I navegated the car instead) so we are now in Tarragona in Catalunya.  A whole different language, just as I was getting used to talking through my nose like the French do.  Catalans talk like they have marbles in their mouths so I am practising my new bark before we take over the park.

There is another Roman amphitheatre here too so I am going to be busy.....then it is off homewards for us tomorrow.

Dear Red, your travels are amazing! On your way home you will have conquered all of the lands dat you crossed.  Hee hee surprising dat lady in da shower was a good move, did you use stealth mode to sneak up?? I don't like when the hoomans do dancing fings, it is very noisy and scary - Ivy hasn't seen it yet but I imagine she would love it because she is a hooligan. We're bunking down at Jenni's for a few days while mum works sumwhere writing sumfing - we wooda helped if she'd stayed at home, I'm pretty good at her stuff these days and can type with both paws.

Hi there Buddy, I am christening every place we go and leaving a dachsie mark for posterity.  The dancing stuff is noisy but o.k. With sausages and especially when pretty ladies hold you in their arms.
Talking of pretty ladies, Islay says mmm...ummmmm....hi too and, if I may say so, is looking bereft since we left YOU.  Positively lovesick, actually.

Tell your Mum to bring you some good haggis and clootie pudding from home and the writing stuff goes better with at least two dachsies on the knees.  She is probably writing about you two anyway.
