I came home over the weekend from being out for about two hours.  There were bird feathers EVERYWHERE in the screen room and no bird.  All three of my little darlings stunk to high heavens so I assume they were rolling in something and had that innocent look on there faces.
I have searched the house, the backyard and every other place I can think of and still NO BIRD BODY!  I've even checked the "digging areas", but still nothing.  I keep following them around when they go out to the yard and haven't found a thing.  Buelah keeps looking at me as if to say "no body, no crime"!
I just know that the remains are going to show up and I suspect it's not going to be pretty.  This is the first bird for the three of them!  YUCK!  I could easily have done without this little "accomplishment"!

Oh no, this is too close to home!!!  Do you think they....  GULP????  I have to say that each one of them would be getting a bath and a lot of looks if I was their Mommy!!!!  How are things going otherwise??  Sounds like Toby is fitting right in!!!

Terri, sounds like you were watching CSI last night on Channel 44.  They said your exact wording "No body, no crime!"

We've found a few lizards (deceased) laying near the back door as if the puppers were saying "Look at what we gots!"  Thankfully, no birds yet, that I have seen.

Koby and Tiff just are not into the lizard hunting.  Sgt taught Libby well and is out there with him searching all the hiding spots.  Guess Koby and Tiff will get the hand of it soon.

Way to go guys!  :apls: :hello2: :apls: :headbang: :apls:  We hope you had sum FUN!

Lauri here:  Just after I got Tommie from the SPCA rescue, I woke up one night from something going on in the house.  I got up, switched the light on in the living room and there was little man Tommie sitting with a dead pigeon in his mouth.  Feathers EVERYWHERE!  The bliss on that little face I will never forget!  He was so proud of his trophee, and wasn't pleased when I took it away.

I've posted before on George and Graces bird hunting.  They have 2 baby bird kills and injured a mommy bird we gave to rescue!  They brought them in the doggy door and plopped them on the big bed!  Fluffy the cat now gives them mega respect for their bird huntig skills.

George here, way to go guys me and da Grace did not have time to hide the bodies, Mom took them from us!  LOL

Fluffy here, how do the short dogs catch the birdies when I can't?

It sounds like it got eaten!  Cajsa has eaten a chicken carcass and it took a few days to a week before I saw evidence of bones going through.  It wasn't fun waiting.  Hope you find something like that rather than a body in the corner - ICK!

Cocoa here,

Way to go!  I just love chasing the little critters.  They are hard to catch; but, seeing Mom's face when she sees body parts is priceless.   Those humans just don't get it that we are Hunters!  Yea!!!

Nothing beats fur and feathers around the house  :thumb:

Yikes!.. Well doxies are little hunters. I'm not sure what's worse, knowing your doxies ate a dead birdie or finding the birdie later on in some place you don't expect.
