Here's what we do for a part of the day....

Duggie and Earl have fast become playmates while Sarge rules the Kingdom and will partake sometimes with the play......But he is the Ruler of the House and the two younger boys follow his command.  Here are a couple of pictures of Duggie and Earl playing "Let's Tug the Toy" of which Duggie wins all the time.  As Duggie wins, Earl backs up and throws a Doxie temper-tantrum by barking at Duggie until Sarge says "enough is enough"!  Sarge will give a bark to Earl from the warmth of his blankies that must say "enough" in doggie bark because Earl stops!  While Earl is barking, Duggie just looks at him with a look of what's your problem...I won fair and square!  So here is what they do first.....



And then......it's nap time because they are worn out.....for a few moments......


And the ruler of the Kingdom, Sarge, watches from his blankies and bed........

Awwww!  I just love Sargey watching over his li'l brudders.  Isn't wonderful how Earl and Duggie get along so well.  All three of your boys put a smile on my face.

Substitute for "hunt the lizard" and you have the same outcome down under. Good lad Sarge for being referee. At least douggie  keeps earl out of sarges hair.

LOVE these pics!!! You have such beautiful boys. I can say now that I know every hair, dapple spot and countour of Duggie's handsome face! And getting very familiar with Sarge's too.  If I ever came back as a dog I would want to be yours. Those are lucky puppers.

It's funny...I have tug-of-war pics with Rudy & Max and the Zs in the exact same poses as Duggie and Earl.    Rudy & Max used to really go at it.  Rudy would usually prevail, leaving Max to walk away.   With the Zs,  Zora tends to win the tug-of-war, even though she is at a fairly noticeable size disadvantage to Zeke.   Despite his Alpha tendencies, Zeke will almost always defer to Zora, who is by far the most submissive dachshund I've owned.
