Brekke's checkup yesterday

was with a new vet at the practice.  Brekke was shaking like a leaf when we went in and she tried to climb me like a tree!  The new vet scratched her chin and gave her a belly rub, so things improved after that!  However, she weighs 12.6 pounds!     I told Rick "no more pancakes!"  She also got a year's supply of heartworm - I got tired of getting her blood checked when we travel, and then buying it, so now I just keep her on it!  She goes back next week for DHP (had rabies yesterday), because after my horrifying experiences with Heidi-Angel, I never let a dachsie get more than one injection at a time!   Julia S.

Having had the pleasure of meeting Brekke, I think that about 10 pounds of that 12.6 pounds is hair.   

Max says he thinks Brekke is beautiful, no matter what!

Brekke says thank you!   :urock:  She was feeling fine yesterday and this morning, but doesn't seem to be hungry tonight!  I am baking some squash, and we'll see if that appeals!
