Not sure where to post this or if I need to check with the shelter first!

The Eau claire animal shelter has 2 doxies there.  They don't always post the small dogs because they normaly go pretty fast.  I was looking last night and discovered one I had seen a while ago bit thought was adopted. He has some problems and is not all doxie. They say he is a doxie/shih tzu and is only 3 years old. His marking reminds me much more of an english setter. I pulled up some English setters on petfinder and one there....christina looks so much like him!!Has some behavior issues from the looks of it, somewhat pushy about his food, and scared of kids.  He looks more like he has some type of . He appears to be somewhat scared. Previous owner did not have enough time for him!! name is Lorenzo.  I don't know if any of the rescue groups would take  a mix.  The reason they say he has doxie is probably because he has a long body and is somewhat short. 

The other it says I have never seen before, and she is a little girl, and i think really little.  She is 4 years old and came from a blasted puppy mill!
I think I have a link to her here. If you pull her up and click on the middle picture, you can sort of tell how tiny she is.  Either she is very tiny OR the guy holding her has enourmous hands.

I will admit I woud be very nervous about a  mini because due to some statins meds I am no longer taking....my mobility nose dived. At least I am no longer losing my balance any time like I was for a while. I also need to puppysize my house again so they cant get into anything not good for dogs!!
I do have a fenced yard, but my Twinkie angel who was a standard was able to schooch out of the gate!!  I think this one could literally slide between the slates in the gate!!

I don't know if I should have checked with the shelter before posting anything but Lorenzo has been there for a while I think.   The shelter just had there better in Show this past weekend.  I was hoping he would get adopted!!

She's a real cutie!!  Don't know about her hind legs though.  They don't look good from the one piccy, although it could just be the way she's standing.

I think she'll find a home quickly!
