As you may know my hubby broke his neck in May well the Bone graft never took the doctor said if he were to fall again most likely will be paralyzed  or die. Also he really does not have any health insurance now since Cobra will be going up sky high he can go to the VA but they already said they would not touch his neck.
The reason I need some Rays is because we were to go to hubby's mother's house for Christmas dinner.Oklahoma got slammed by rain, sleet & snow the TV & the Governor said please stay home do not get out on the roads.MIL lives about 5 miles away not far but treacherous just walking to the car then trying to drive to her house then her drive way will be nothing but ice.
I'm going to have a jumping up & down fit going to tell him we need to stay home.( You would think his mother would tell us to stay home) Hubby also has AS Ankylosing Spondylosis so very easy for his spine to fracture. I hope I can talk some sense into hubby and we will not go anywhere. Thanks for letting me vent. My son & DIL were suppose to come to the dinner too I told them to stay home they have a longer drive.Papbouv

Oh Papbouv....I hope the family understands, but you and hubby need to stay home today.....stay safe and warm inside and do not travel...there is always time to travel another day!!!!  God Bless and the family should understand that is is just too dangerous for you to go out today!!!

OH gosh nothing like extra stress at Christmas! I hope everyone too will be extra cautious with him, the snow and ice is not good to be out in any circumstance and especially for your hubby. You both be careful out there.

Oh geez, it sounds like its best to just stay put.  I hear ya about the COBRA insurance.  Mine just ran out, and so far I have been denied by three insurance companies.  Wow.  Nice.  After working for 35 years.  Thanks a lot folks.  And of course no one wants to touch my neck either.  Please take good care of yourselves, we're all in this together.
