For thos of you who use steam cleaners:  Do you keep changing out the water until it is clean?  I usually don't, but think maybe this would be a good idea.  Not sure DH will think so, but I can't find the honkin' instructions.
Any input?  Thanks, Les

Here's an idea! Why not look up the model of your steam cleaner on the internet to see if it would tell you what you're wondering about!

Are you talking about steaming carpets, or the Shark steamer for tile and hardwood floors?  I would guess that you are talking carpet, and I usually do the floor once, and then the next day again, with fresh water and solution.  The carpet pile seems to sit up and I really get much better results.  If a carpet is really sticky, or really stained, I may even do it with plain water first, and the next day with solution, and the 3rd day with more solution.  I had to do that with a former resident's "workroom" because of coffee spills and food stains on the carpet.
