LOL now that's the way to spend a Halloween evening!  Love their bandanas too does'nt orange go well with black and tan? Do they always use their ramp? Hallie would sail right off the side as if it wasn't there, which is why I don't use ramps but I know a lot of doxies that do. Just wondering how you teach them not to leap off the side?

We haven't gotten one trick or treater yet either and it's 7 pm. We always have a lot by this time. Figures, since I got an extra lot of candy this year since I ran out last year. D'oh. Hallie is at her station at her window waitin' for the ghosties and goblins but...nuthin'!

It was very slow in our neighborhood.  If we had 10 kids come by, that was probably all.  Granted, we were out trick-or-treating with Jessica for the first hour.   At first she was frightened by all the strangers at the doors of other houses, but eventually, she did get the hang of the trick-or-treating thing.   We got to meet a few other doggies, too.  The doggies were far more interesting to Jessica than the candy.   That and she would try to shut the doors back on the people who were giving out the candy.

Max, of course, was curled up on the couch and snoozed through the whole thing.

We didnt have any trick or treaters either. I still have a huge bowl of candy plus  all the treats my son got at a fall festival. Anyone want some candy?!!!!!! Please take some

I took Elf around to a few houses and ended up talking to some of the other moms so I didn't get back in time to see all the trick or treaters, but the candy I'd left on the doorstep was pretty much gone.  There were a few packs of Honey graham bears that were left but that was it.  I didn't care if they all took a handful of stuff but I guess they just took one or two.  I wanted to get back to actually hand things out, but I didn't get to do that.  There were tons of cuties walking around though and I got to see them.

Elf on the other hand loved going out and seeing everyone/thing.  She loved the dogs and other pets she saw and would make a beeline towards them if she saw them first.  She even darted into our neighbors house to see the dog.  I was embarrassed but our neighbor didn't mind and even let them play tug a few minutes.  I was thankful no one was offended.  Elf enjoyed herself and I can post some pics of her from her trick or treat at daycare yesterday.  (I'll have to wait on the ones I took last night though.)

Cajsa of course barked and protected the house from all the goblins and such.  She got to wear her cape, but wouldn't hold still for a picture.  I may try to get one again tonight (even if it's not Halloweenie!)  She did love on Elf in her ladybug costume and I wasn't sure what she'd do with that.  (She's not always sure about clothes that change the shape of Elf.)  Elf got some kisses though so it was good!

We only had seven trick-or-treaters.  Ozzy was ticked off because I had to gate him in the TV room, or he would have been a pest.

On the bright side, we had pizza and pop delivered to work for lunch yesterday.  I never turn down a free lunch!!

My family and I are like a couple of you-got extra candy and we only had about 15 kids come.

What pretty and festive bandannas you two have!  And those nails!  Gorgeous!  Princesses like you look so pretty with a pedicure!

We had a TON of trick or treaters!  I ran out of candy and had to raid my secret chocolate stash for the cause!  Oscy, Buelah, and Toby had a grand time being admired by all of the children!
