I am really hoping this will toughen me up a bit. I am such a sissy when it comes to animals, and since my dream is to work with rescues or special needs dogs i really need to buck up. I cry at everything. I am worried about certain aspects of it though. My aunties are both vet techs and they have had a tough time fighting against euthanizations unless comepletely neccesary and what not.

But its really teaching me alot! My first lesson was about dog and cat reproduction, and the second was all about vaccinations. So its really interesting from a pet owners point of view. It explains so much about why shots are given when they are and which ones are really needed. Its amazing how much i am retaining! I normally have a terrible memory but i guess since i am so intrigued by this its sticking!

I have also been reading Ceaser Milans books to look into more of the mind set of dogs as well and its SO interesting. I am completely soaking myself in dog information and i think my mom and boyfriend are going nuts. I keep calling my mom "Did you know that dogs... blah blah blah"

And is should be that way until the course is completed....then you can have a "real" life. Until that time, do what you have to do.
