I'm going to whine do not have to read

I'm whining do to frustration I guess as you know hubby broke his neck in May had surgery we really liked his surgeon we went to two post-op visits nothing was said about not healing everything seemed to be good.WE get a letter stating the surgeon we had was leaving that pratice we were to go to another doctor in that pratice.We go see this new guy he comes in says Hi and wants to know who is smoking he says it real hateful, Hubby quit smoking in May if I do smoke once in awhile get stressed out with hubby home 24/7. I do not smoke around hubby at all hubby does not know this.Hubby can not smell anything since he had nose surgery a few years ago.We did smoke in our house for 35 years so I'm sure stuff smells like smoke we told this doctor that.
This doctor says get on disability neck not healing air space between Bone graft and bone it is to grow too it is ok to tell someone bad news but their are ways to do it with out being blunt & hateful.Hubby lost his health insurance in Aug when the Family Leave Act ran out.Hubby still wants to go to this jerk doctor so he buys the Cobra Ins.President Obama had Cobera drop their high prices for a few months runs out in January goes back to the high prices.I get hubby registered to the VA health he is a vetran now that he bought the Cobra I think it will mess up the VA health so I give up  when the Cobra runs out may have to re-registrar him again to VA? We go back to the jerk doctor yesterday he really goes off on us when the nurse came in first we had told her we thought it was odd the 1st doctor did not give any restrictions after the surgery.I guess they thought we were going to sue or something Jerk doctor came in all up in the air saying he was not the surgeon he was given hubby just because the other doctor left (heck we know that) I think he was POed because hubby was added to his patient load.Now he says the neck still has an air space,not healing.He gives him the following restrictions No driving,no sports,no getting on ladders,must wear hard cervical collar 24/7 even at night.Says if hubby falls again death or being paralyzed. Oh this doctor must have X-ray vision told hubby his Ankylosing Spondylosis which he does have in his neck must be all up and down his spine and has spread already to other areas?
Sorry for the long whine but needed to vent.

hubby did get his Social Security Disability 1st time very unusual they generally tell every one NO may get a check for Christmas.

You have every right to be frustrated!!! It seems doctors are so busy lately they are all grouchy with their patients.  At least the ones I've seen.     I really hope everything works out for hubby's surgery and that he starts healing.   We'll be praying for you and yours.
