Puppies Behind the Bars

Dad was tuning the radio and we heard about this program, they were talking to the founder of the program, a puppy raiser and a PTSD Iraq veteran who now has one of these dogs. It was a Puppies Behind the Bars program where the inmates were training to puppies to become service dogs... It was amazing.

I love this program!!!!   It was a brilliant idea.   In Colorado, not sure what theirs is called there is a program where they have inmated train dogs as well.  People can send their pets there for obedience instruction and they also have a lot of service dogs out of there.  Its really fantastic!!
