OMG!  I found a solution to my dilema with Ollie and the crate at my mom & dad's house while I work.  Hubby got too stressed out trying to 'prevent' doggy accidents with Ollie, so I ended up crating him again, alone, for hours.  I even tried a radio.  He still scraped his nose and tore up the bedding in the crate.  He was very sullen when I would come home and take him out.  (Hubby would go over about noon and let him out and give him water).  He was depressed because he didn't give me that, 'Oh Boy, Your back' excitement.  I called this dog grooming salon across the street from where I work to check to see if they did day care since they advertised boarding.  They did.  Told me what I would need for their records.  Told me they would continue to work with him on potty training using what ever methods I was using, which is treats after potty commands and doing the act.  They gave me a price of $10.00/day or $8.00/day for the week, excluding Mondays as they are open Tues-Sat.  They said they could either put him in a pen or let him stay out with their dogs and play and be with them.  Wonderful! I would use them Tues-Friday.  I even get to walk across the road and visit him during lunch.  Ah, I feel so much better.  Even hubby didn't fuss about my solution as he usually does.

Hi, this is Ollie.  My mum found me the bestest place to stay while she was gone to work so I wudn't be alone and cry.  I got to ride all the way into town with her this mornin.  I love riding in the car.  I loved the smell of this place.  It smelled like dog heaven....dog toys, dog food, dog treats, and DOGS.  Lots of them. The humans were so nice and fun to be around.  They gave me lots of kisses and attention.  They even cut and filed my nails and I wasn't scared. There was this big big puppy there running around with me that loved to play as much as I do.  Mum even came and played with me during lunch time.  I already ate and was busy exploring and visiting other dogs.  I wasn't ready to go home, so she left again. Mum said I had dried dog slobber all over me when she picked me up later to go home, but she didn't care.  She was smiling and asking me over and over if I had a good time.  Duh!  I didn't really want to go home, but, then again, I was pooped and needed a nap.  I heard mum tell them I was coming back again.  Yippeee.  Arf, Arf.  She loves me.

That sounds like the perfect solution. The price is great-really reasonable for your peace of mind. I'm glad Ollie had fun and enjoyed himself. If anything ever happens to Molly, I will need to find somewhere like that for Schatzi. I just can't see her around here by herself. She would be lost and doggie daycare would be perfect for her.
