Just wondering how Loki is doing, any more all nighters?

Leslie

She's been doin' okay!!!!  Thanks, Marica for asking!

She has been a little quieter than before, but I really think that the squirt gun training is helping to focus her on being calm(er).  I swear the weird nightime event was triggered by the workmen being right outside the door all day and the pups couldn't see or meet them--they just heard strange voices and lotsa bangin' around.  That might make me crazy, too.

There have been one or two staring incidents, but still they have been brief.

I have noticed--because sometimes it's helpful when you have two puppers about the same age for comparision--that Zuzu spends a little more time sleeping.  Typically she would stay outside all day if she could, and has one or two favorite "look-out" spots.  But I do notice a bit more snoozing going on at the look-out spots, 'specially the one in the shade.

So, we are keeping ourselves aware, and like I said before, keeping up with routine and training and rewards.

Leslie I remember one article I ready about CCD said to keep them active and their mind busy, its too bad they can't do concentration games or puzzles.  However, Eddie and Sam loved to play  find the treat and that got their investigative little brains active, but after Sam went to the bridge both Eddie and I lost interest.

Glad though that Loki isn't raiding the fridge after everyone has gone to bed.

Not fer lack of tryin', though, she's in her crate all night.

Tonight she was sitting under the dining room table, just hanginfg out near a table leg.  I called her name and she looked at me and wagged her tail and I swear she sed: "Just inspectin' this table leg, mom, looks good."

So I tell DH and he recalls a really funny line you wrote (as Prince Sammy to King Sol): "You habs many jobs, let us count dem...teckin' mom at werk, tectin' mom at home..."

We use the phrase: "Let us count dem" all the time.   I think the original discussion was on the old board...

Lately if Meg ishome late and eating by herself at the table, Molly, who is around 55 lbs, will somewhow get herself under the table, try to center herself where Meg is and then put her chin on her knee if possible. She knows that Schatzi is always present for food and I guess she has decided that maybe if she is in a place that meg can't ignore (and Schatzi might not see Meg slip her something) she can score something for herself. Watching her manuever herself there is hilarious!
