Minister's Delight! SUPER GOOD DESSERT:):):):):)

Last year my Mom and I helped some elderly friends get ready to move to a nursing home;and while helping them go through their house I came across a recipe box full of recipes and I asked my friend if I could have it! This is one of the recipes I came across in the box! I've made it 2 times so far using both of the pie fillings and both times they came out really good!


                                                           Minister's Delight1

                                                     1 can (21 ounces) cherryor apple pie filling
                                                     1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
                                                     1/2 cup butter or margarine,melted
                                                     1/3 cup chopped walnuts: optional

                         Place pie filling in a slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter(mixture will be crumbly);sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired.Cover and cook on low
                          for 2-3 hours.Serve in bowls. Yield 10-12 servings.
