our lucky day

dis iz Zuzu:  Our day started yucky 'cause dere was thunder, but mama got us out to pee and stuff afore it started rainin'.  Den we had our bweakfast and da mama forgots the yogurt. Hmmmpfh.  But den she was gettin' ready for werk and we was all tucked in on the blankie in the living room.  She put da baby gate up so we'ze couldn't get on de sofas, as usual.

Loki here:  I was snoozin' and den I decided to get up and checkout all of da twash cans, but da lids were on. BUT!  I was strollin' down de hallway and saw DA BIG BED!!!  and the sun wuz shinin' on it and I heard angel hally-lu-yas and lo and behold, Momma had left da door open!!!!!!!!!!!!  So we gots to sweep in da big bed all da rainy afternoon. 

Yep, the door was open and the bed was warm when I got home.  I can only hope Loki used the ottoman to get down. (Zuzu has been trained since day one to use it.)  I don't think she can jump UP anymore without it, but she will still launch herself off if the x-pen isn't around the bed.  Glad they didn't fall and hurt themselves and I sure wish I was in bed all day!

HO! My. I feel for you there why do these little buggars jump at any chance to hurt themselves (pun intended). If they weren't so darn cute...

LOL we can just hear those angel Hallie-Luyah's too, call of the wild irrestible to mere wiener dogs. Since the girls ended up fine I do love picturing them snoozing in the sun on the big bed!

dis is Parker: whoa, da big bed. I have to be lifted in to da beds around here. But sometimes when my Momma is changing the beds, she weaves the comforters on da floor. Thats good snoozin time, unless I gets bored and destuff them. Den I'm in big big twbles. Momma usually keeps her doors closed too. She don't like nosey wittle boys getting in twbles in some of da wooms.

Wha nwhoooo girls I'd be there with you, my mum ALWAYS closes da bedroom door, don't know why as my shortlegged sis would never make it in a pink fit. My all time favourite is da end of da big bed loooking out on da garden.

I'm glad they didn't get hurt.    That definately would have been nice to snooze all afternoon on a cozy bed.
