48 hours post op and I just took a nice hot shower. Oh little things make me HAPPY !

I have had some discomfort ... but not really any pain. They got all the cancer and tested only two lymph nodes and the there was no cancer there so they didn't have to take any more. Thanks, God. I think the plan is radiation (5 days a week for 6 weeks) and then Tamoxifen . Ruth

WOO HOO - hot showers are awesome !!! Just let Ellie girl take care of you and REST !!!! Radiation will be draining.....but we will celebrate when that is finished ! So glad you seem to be doing very good !!!

Oh Ruth, I am so glad this part is over, now to get through the treatment and you will be sailin'! Get your life back...I know these things can make your world stop but you will get back to a "normal". Tests the strength of the human spirit. Glad you got that hot shower!!!

MaMa had her 16th radiation treatment today ..... "almost" half over. She looks half baked too ..... as if she was only half topless sunbathing .... and not even half the fun either. eLlIe

I'm glad you're almost half done!! I love the picture of your grandson. (so cute!!!) Hopefully, the rest of your treatment flys by and you never have to do it again!!
