As some of you know, Dave has been battling Multiple Scelrosis (MS) so any research or steps toward a cure are very close to our hearts.  Our family (Dave, myself, our daughter, Cassie and son-in-law, Sean, Son, Tyler and girlfriend, Kara and Son, Wil) are all going to do the MS Walk in Spokane on April 5.  With Dave's limited ability to walk long distances, we have a chair for him that each of us will take turns in pushing.  The walk is either a two mile or five mile walk through public and private college campus and state park.  (The furkids will be staying home but will be with us in spirit.)
What we are so proud of, is the drive of our kids to seek out sponsors and donations for the walk.  All funds raised stay right here in the area of which the Pacific Northwest is the highest ranked area for MS afflictions.   Our daughter has really gotten out there and in just two days, she has raised close to $500 and is still going strong.  She is just amazing and the boys aren't far behind her.  We are walking as a team and plan on having T-Shirts with our team name and a design on them (T-Shirts courtesy of Mom and Dad).

and justly so.  Congratulations on your participation and good luck.  It´s a rotten affliction and a shame more people don´t understand and contribute.

That is absolutely wonderful Dee!  It is a horrible and debilitating disease and I pray they find a cure for it soon.  How great that you can spend the day with your family doing something so incredibly worthwhile!

That's really great, it must be nice to have kids that make you proud!  Maybe the furkids could ride along with Dave!

Dee, that is wonderful how your children are taking charge for a wonderful cause.  You are proud and rightfully so.  Praying a cure is found soon for this horrible disease!

That's really great!   You should be very proud of your kids for doing that.   I hope you have nice weather for the walk.
