my youngest son (after 10 years USMC) was commissioned yesterday as a Trooper in the Washington State Patrol . (center 3rd row up)

Hi Dee,
Yes , both sons are WSP. Tim is Communications Officer (dispatch) in Tacoma, and Dan will be in Bellevue/Seattle.
At some point, big brother will be able to tell little bro "where to go"

You have every reason to be proud of him. Those awards are not easy to come by. I think the crooks in the Bellevue/Seattle area better watch out, their days are numbered!

Congrats Ruth! You should be proud of both of your boys. Let's not forget about Tim, either. From my own experience volunteering with the Maryland-National Capital Park Police, I can tell you how important it is to have a voice you can trust on the other side of the radio. When you call in service and the voice on the other end is one you recognize, it is a very reassuring feeling.
