Pups went to bed (crate) EARLY last night and got up late this morning--so they had 13 hours of crate time. This morning: Big stretch, some ear flappin' and out to pee.  She is using the ramp well to go down the one step to the yard, but the rain made it difficult to get her back around, and UP the ramp, so I lifted her the one step.  Minor Loki grumbling inside (DON'T DRY ME!) and then breakfast.  She looked a little dejected when she found the bedroom door closed, but a cookie tempted her right into the floor bed I made for her.  She seems to understand that I am taking care of her.

Not sure if I should start the medication therapy (anti-immflamitaory) tommorrow night, since she really looks and acts fine, only slower.  I kinda think the pain cue is a good thing for her, and giving her artificial relief might encourage her to get all rowdy.  But I guess the relief on the spine would be theraputic for the long run.  Doctor said give as needed.  Your input?.

Glad Loki is doing better !!!!  How did she do last night?  Did you decide to give her the meds today or wait and see how she does?  Rays on the way !

I would say if she seems to be in pain to give her the meds.  If she just seems stiff then I'd probably hold off as long as she seems otherwise OK.  I'm not big on giving/taking meds though.  How is she doing today?
