Romeo's Eye Got Hurt By Bad Cat :(

Hi all need some Rays and prayers and good thoughts for my baby he got his left eye scrached by a cat over at grandma and grandpa's house yesterday that is where he goes when me and hubby are at work.  They have one cat Stewart and he is good he doesn't bother Romeo but there are a few strays that hang around and one is mean and all Romeo wants to do is play and well this bad mean cat scrached my poor babies eye, so we are going to the doctor vet today at 4:30 pac time to get him all fixed up.  His eye is all droopy and watering and he is trying to keep it closed I can tell it is hurting him because when I get out of the shower he is always there licking me to pieces and this morning he was just laying down so I put him in bed with daddy and he went right back to sleep and he was a little cheeper when I droped him off at grandma and grandpa's house but then I called my mom to tell her about appt and she said he doesn't want to do much now and he is in bed with grandpa so I know he is hurting and it just breaks my heart I cried so much last night and this mornig.  I think it hurts me more because my son Zach is in that dog the son I lost I think I might have posted about that before so it hurts me more.  So please pray and send rays and good thoughts that nothing to serious is wrong with his eye and he will ok.  Thank you all so very much

Oh my!  I hope everything is fine for him.  It should be easily cleared up with some eye drops or ointment and maybe some antibiotics for infection.  (cat claws can be nasty that way.)  Please update us when you get back from the vet!

I'm sure the vet will be able to prescribe something for Romeo's eye.  Poor little guy, its good that he was staying low key and slept so his eye could do some healing.  Please let us know how he is doing.

Too bad you must not have a Dog ER in your area would think it would be a emergency since cat claws & bites are notorious for getting infected poor little guy sure hope the vet can fix him up at least give him pain meds for his eye. First I just want to thank you all so very very very much  for the love and support and Rays and Prayers for my little baby you all are family and just so darn sweet and caring.  He is doing much better the doctor vet was great it was a little spendy though but its ok he is worth it.  His eye itself didn't get scratched thank God but the flap (Corna) got tore a little real little but went back down sorry hard to remember and explain like vet did but he is going to be ok if that heals up if not then he will have to have surgery on it but it won't be to bad.  He has a pain pill and some anitboitic ointment for his eye and he is full of it today lol and his eye looks better already.  I am so Thankful for that.  He goes back next Wed for a check up to see how its healed up and I will let you all know how that appt goes also.  Please just continue prayers and rays for continue healing and no surgery.  He is just like my Son Zach full of it lol lol strong willed and very full of love.  Thank you all again so much
