Who told my mom 'bout dis????

Mom was really excited and said she was going to go and get me something from WalMart. Someone on da board told her they had something for me there.  I thought she would come home wif Dingo Bones. Dis is what I got instead. I want to know who told her about dis?



I'm not happy about it!!!



I'll wear it, but only because it will keep me warm. Still don't like it. Would rather have Dingos.




Schatzi is tolerating this sweater better than most, but I have noticed that the problem is really her deep chest. Because of it, the neck pulls down really far. The arms on the sweater seem to bother her the most. I'm going to see if I can figure out some way to make them less bothersome to her. They had a couple of sweaters that just had armholes, but not in her size. Thank you, Patty, for sending us in the right direction (even if Schatzi doesn't think its such a good idea right now).

WalMart-5.00 .They have some for 7.00. A great deal considering Petco and Petsmart were 14.00 and up. Target had a few for 7.99 but I like 5.00 better. I really want to get her the bright green with the lavender stripes, but I have to find her size in it.

Schatzi, poor sweet girl, mama is only trying to keep you all toasty warm!  AND you look just adorable in your new sweater.  Maybe if you give mama the l@@k she will run back to the store and get you some of those dingo bones that you love!

Very cute!  But yes, we're familiar with the deep-chested fitting problems.  Stormy is very hard to fit, but will wear his dashing Greek Fisherman sweater out in the snow.  For Sophie, she used to be SO very thin and long, that I had her a sweater custom-knit by a lady up on Prince Edward Island  in Canada.  I'd seen some of her dog-sweater work on ebay, and she said she could do custom measurements.  So, I sent the measurements, and a skein of yarn, and I believe $11.00.  I received a beautifully knit (with cables and some fancy stitches) bright royal blue sweater that fits our Sophie to a T!  She even sent the rest of the yarn not used back.  Anyhow, since that time, I've decided to learn to knit, but it has taken me over a year to knit my first scarf, so Sophie needs to hope that her custom sweater keeps on fitting for a while yet!  Someday, I'll get Rich to put some pictures up...  But, if you're inclined, there's a good project in your future...

Porky has the same problem with all the sweaters I buy for him.  He is really deep chested do the neck ends up going WAAY down.    I love picture 2 of Schatzi.  "Are we done with these pictures yet?"      She looks really adorable in her sweater!
