The sweaters just cover their backs, and underneath it covers their chest, that is all.  All orifices have access to the outdoors.

I love those sweaters!!!  Soo cute!   Poor Willy does NOT look happy.  Hopefully he won't be the next big DOX News Story.   Dog suing parents.....humiliating pictures posted all over internet.....story to follow.
