Books - Has anyone read the following???

I'm curious....has anyone read Merle's Door by Ted Kerasote or Nights in Rodante by Nicholas Sparks?  Karen, I know you're a reader, I'm wondering if you have or any one else? If so, your thoughts? Thanks!  Dee

Meg read Nights in Rodante last week (she said it was great because she could read it before bed-it's the only non-school book she's read in a month) and loved it. She was going to see the movie last night. She is a pretty good judge of books, so I plan to get it this week myself.
