wouldn't rubbing the dog with a 2 cent dryer sheet have the same effect?

how about a wire stuck in a 110-volt outlet? :chairfall:

I'm not sure why, but I have a vague recollection in my head that there's something in dryer sheets that is toxic to dogs?  Mine used to play with my dryer sheets after they were used, but someone told me somewhere that they're toxic, so I stopped that.  It could be misinformation, but I thought I'd toss it out there.

I  have heard that too Kathleen.  I'm not sure how true it is though.   :dontknow:

Loki does have a super sweater.  It keeps evil rain drops from landing on her.  ANd looks cool, too.
Does that count?

(i know that the dog sweaters sell out really fast in the fall, so last year I took her ratty, worn red sweater into the store for size comparison.  When the saleslady asked me if she could help me find anything I held it up and sed "I new a new super sweater."  she laughed.)

I have heard that things like dryer sheets and Fabreeze are harmful to pets.  Dryer sheets are especially dangerous because if you dog eats one, it could clog up his or her intestines and cause toxic shock, and death.
