Not a doxie this time, but I just finished this commission last night. Now on to a cat, another australian shepherd, a german shepherd and some horses...then hopefully I'll have time to do another doxie.

WOW DD!  What a pretty boy he is! Of course you did a marvellous job as always!  My jaws always drops as I see your artwork!  It's almost unthinkable that you can do that with paint and a brush!   I love the Australian shepards and the cattle dogs as well.

Hey Lauri and Roberta! 
I'm sorry Lauri, I should have said that this is a "she"...her name is Annie and she is 12 yrs old. I fluffed her up and younged her up a bit and she does look a touch masculine! I will be doing her son Ollie next who is a blue merle, painting those spots are going to make my eyes cross. :) By the way, Hallie and I are attending the national Friesian meeting in November, it's not far from us and the evening performances are going to be pretty neat I guess. I hope to get some good photos.

Roberta Miss Berry Butt has not reacted to any of my art yet lol but a clients three pugs still bark at their portrait on the wall over a year later. :)

A Friesian meeting?  With evening performances?  Golly, that's gonna be something to see!  Be sure to take lots a pictures.  Wish I could go there too!  That is something non-existent in SA.  We only got the Spanish Riding School in Johannesburg that gives weekly performances on the Lipizzaners.  As far as I know it's the only Spanish Riding School in the world outside Vienna.

I didn't realize there was a spanish riding school there Lauri I would rather have that! My next horse painting is going to be a Lipizzan. The problem with the Friesian meeting is there will be black horses doing gorgeous things in a very large and dark arena. I've taken photos in there before and they always come out blurry. I am going to try and get permission to be in the arena at the time though not sure how successful I'll be lol.
