Our Little Vacation

Our little getaway starts this Sunday, September 7th. and ends Wednesday, September 10th.  We are going to the Jersey Shore, Seaside Heights.  I found a rental cottage that allows dogs so the puppers will be going with us.  I am just so excited.  Have made a list of everything we'll need, but I'm sure I'll forget something.  I bought stress tabs for the furkids and plan to give them one on Saturday.  I would like them to calm down and not be so nervous about being away from home.

This Sunday there is a Seafood Festival and street fair.  You know, hubby and I are going to get our share of seafood.  I'll be thinking of you as I am stuffing my face.

I'm gonna take lots of pictures.  I might even get in one or two.  Hubby can hardly wait to walk the Boardwalk where there are lots of food stands.  I think the two of us will gain a pound or two.  lol

Have fun Annie!  Sounds great and it's wonderful that you found a place so the furkids can go also!  We've been talking about renting a place next summerat the lake....and I have found a few that allow pets.  You need a scooter for your hubby to use......yesterday, Dave and I and Wil (youngest son) went to the Spokane Intersate Fair and spent the day.  Dave's mobility for any distance walking is extremely limited and because of that we hadn't been to the fair in a few years.  This year, American Seating and Mobility is at the fair and renting out battery powered scooters.  Dave was all over the fairgrounds, keeping Wil and I on the go!  We all had a great time and Dave was able to really enjoy the fair and not worry about his mobility because he had the scooter!  We are in process of purchasing one so he can get around.

Wow Annie - that sounds like great fun !!!  And very kewl the puppers get to go with !!!  Can't wait to hear about it.... and of course, all the good seafood you get to eat !!!!
