DANGER - Four Paws Dog Toy

I just received this link to Chai's story thru a friend who's a member of Health Dobes (I think that's a yahoo chat site). Please check it out, it refers to a ball made by Four Paws which should be pulled off the market immediately. I checked snopes.com to see if it was some sort of hoax, but it does not show up, so it seems that it is a genuine horror story.

The Chai Story

The Chai Story did not come though where you can click on it copied it from Dobe Talk the story is about a older Lab playing with a Four Paws Toy Ball it had one hole in it the dogs tongue got stuck in the hole because it only had one hole in it. The dog was taken to the ER vet ball removed the tongue swelled up stayed swelled up for days. The dog had to have it removed surgically now the dog and owners are having to deal with a dog with NO tongue. Finding it very hard to feed and give water to the dog but they are learning together the Chai Story was a U -tube video of the dog after surgery how much pain the dog was in even with pain medication on board. Then another showing how they have to feed the dog and give the dog water.Also another story about the same ball for Four Paws getting stuck on a Boston Terrier but the owners were able to get the ball off the tongue but was painful to get the ball off the tongue for the dog. The Lab's owners are trying to get the word out about this problem a ball with two holes does not cause this problem.
