My tummy hurts......but don't tell Mom

Today when we were leaving da office, Mom said to me "Come here King Sol, I will carry you because you never go straight to the car".  :pino: . This is a lie.  I do too go straight to the car.  Right after I go to the downspout (thats the best place to pee), then sniff along the fence for varmintz,  and then check out to see if anyone is in the shop that shouldn't be there or needs to pet me.  Then i go right to the car!     So I was taking offence to that, especially because stinky baby dog got to walk to the car (probably because he was on crate rest for so long and Mom wouldn't let him walk anywhere, but SO WHAT?  SBD)    So joke's on Mom because SBD DIDN'T go right to the car, and she had to go get him by the fence.  This is where it gets good.......So I'm in the car, by myself and guess what???  Mom forgot she had a sammich on the way home from the lake yesterday and she only ate half.  THE REST WAS WRAPPED UP UNDER DA SEAT!!  SCORE!!!  I found it.  That paper was sooo easy to chew through.  The sammich had turkey and real cheese (the kind sliced off a chunk, not whats wrapped in slices) and lettuce that I don't like but I had to eat it because what if there was some turkey or cheese on it and I missed it?  The bun was good too - more flavor than white bread but I am not sure what kind it was.

So, HA on Mom......by the time she was back to the car with Kirby I was finished.  Another minute and I'd have gotten away with it.  I still had lettuce hanging from my whiskers but I coulda hid the paper. 

Side note from Mom:   I am kicking myself for forgetting that in the car, but I wish I would have had a camera to capture Sol sitting on the floor in the car with lettuce hanging off his face....and when i busted him and said "SOL!!!" - the look was priceless.  Well, you know what they say - you get what you deserve!!  I am just hoping he doesn't get sick off a sandwich that was in a car in 70 degree heat for 24 hours!

Today during lunch time (me and SBD are sposta sit on our bed and not beg - but its not begging when people drop stuff) nobody was paying attention to us and one of the ladies left her purse on the floor and there was a BIG cookie in it!  Plastic wrap ain't gonna keep da King out!  I shared wiff Kirby so he'd be quiet.  We didn't get caught until there was only one bite left.  But then we didn't get our good-boy treats after lunch.  Hey, it was THERE.

This is amazing, two lucky strikes in two days.  Don't they say that good things come in threes??
