Kathy, when I have lost doxies in the past, and I have lost four, this board was a Godsend.  Reading the messages left for me was like sitting in a room full of people who truly understood what I was going through.  It was a time to really cry, not only for my loss but because I was so touched that so many people cared about me.  I hope that we all can give you some comfort and let you know that you are not alone.

16?  Thats a good little stretch for a dachshund. You must of took good care of that baby. Don't kick yourself over the dental thing, the way these dogs are sometimes it's really hard to tell if they have problems.
