You guys missed US? We missed you too!

Hi gang - Sue here.  As you may or may not know, Jim and I have our own electrical contracting business.   Along with everyone else's hardships,  construction has taken a huge hit the past year.  At least in Green Bay, where we are located.  (Don't even bring up Brett Favre please) We have had to cut our staff by about 40%, which was really hard on us.  We had 30 employees, and each one is like family.  In 2006 we hit 2.5 million in sales.  This past year we celebrated 25 years in business, but our sales were about half of that.  We've had to really put more effort, time, and MONEY into the business than we had expected.  At the end of the day, being social is the least of my desires.  Thankfully, slowly but surely this year is looking better.

ANYWAY - I miss you all too!  Many days I would take a walk to decompress and wonder about all my fur baby buddies.  I promise to do my best to keep up once again, this board was a vital part of my life for a long time.  You guys are the absolute best friends any one could ask for.  That said, the dogs would like to talk too:

Hi its me, King Sol.  I am still the King.  I just pretend I don't mind stinky baby dog, because then Mom calls me a good boy and I get treats.  I have a new fishing hat and vest that I really don't mind too much.  I wear it for luck when we go fishin'.  Did you know that bluegill fish taste better when I lick them than northern pike fish?  And Kirby got a spankin' for biting through the fish net.  He ain't so smart sometimes.  If there is a hole in the net, the fish will get away - DUH.  He is being a big baby about his back - it only hurts when he wants a treat or a kiss.  Don't tell mom though because if he gets a treat, I get one too.  And I'm still all about food.  I don't get greenies very much anymore, but I love dingo bones.  Oh, and I still like red toys the best.  Mom bought me and SBD each a stuffed frog, mine is red and kirby's is green.  But they are both mine.  Sbd only likes his 3 favorite toys.  All of them are bigger than he is, but we let him dream.   I miss you guys - hangin' out with SBD all the time is making me nutzo.

WE BOTH LIKE OUR LIVES AND ARE HAVING FUN UP AT THE LAKE WITH MOM AND DAD.  MOM SAID SHE WOULD QUIT HER JOB IF SHE GOOD AND START A DOGGY SUMMER CAMP FOR ALL OUR DOXIE FRIENDS.  But since she can't, we will just have to send pictures and pretend.

It is so great to get an update from you again. I completely understand about the times in your life when being social just takes too much energy or more attention than you can muster at the time. I'm glad to know things are looking up for the business, both for your well-being and, selfishly, because it means we will see more of you on here and get to hear more about Sol and Kirby (occasionally I have to use his real name, I guess). You and Sol are the first members of the board that caught my attention. Poor Randy. He heard story after story about Sol and his greenies. Finally I just had him read them for himself!
I hope Kirby continues to do well and you have more time to enjoy the lake. It won't be long before you'll get to see those beautiful fall leaves you have there. I still have a copy of the pictures you took at the lake in the fall one year saved on a disc. The trees were incredible!

Hi Sue.  I have not had the pleasure of knowing you before now, but I am very glad to have this opportunity and so glad you are back on the Board.    I just loved the video of the boys and it's wonderful that they are both feeling happy and healthy again. 

We all have our moments when being sociable just isn't "in the cards."  It's great that the business is picking up.  It can be such a worry.

It's very nice to get to know you and I am happy me and my puppers can become your new friends!

GREAT to hear from you !!!  Business wise - sorry for the roller coaster - it is tough for all business' these days..... glad things are looking up !!!  Glad to see you back !!!  We miss you, The King and the Prince !  Look forward to hearing more stories of the boys antics !

That video is great!  SBD is so quick and loud.  Before the video started both of my boys were asleep, but then they hear Kirby barking and they immediately woke up, started barking and ran around the house looking for that dog.  lol  Silly boys.

So glad you're back.  I always loved the Sol-Kirby stories.  I, too, have been away (for over a year).  Life just gets so hectic and time just flys by.

Sue, the video was so cute.  My Willy and Alex just chased off a big dog from next door at the cabin.  They really told him off.  I hope business picks up again for you soon.  Everyone is having hard times it seems.  Oh well, at least we are all in the same boat.
