Frida and Frosty Paws

Frida wanted to know more about the special ice cream for doggies that Porky Pie mentioned...She gets an occasional treat of Frosty Paws and it makes her kookoo. Willy, our Cardigan Welsh Corgi, is really low key about enjoying his ice cream cups. He stops for belly rubs and scratches. Frida, on the other hand, shows her ice cream delight by growling and hissing like a rabid skunk. Check out the ice cream on her snout.

Ah, well, Willy is such a low key kinda guy! I am glad Frida is such a devotee of Frosty Paws now. Where did you finally find some, Rebecca? Is it vanilla or peanut butter?

Penny loves Frosty Paws!!! She gets obsessed with it until she is done!

My three LOVE the Frosty Paws! I do remember the first time that Oscy had a cup. He dove right in and then stopped and shook his head and ran around in circles. I do believe he got the Brain Freeze!

He has fortunately learned to slow down!

Frida gives much thanks to Brekke and her mom Julia for bringing Frosty Paws to my attention. I ended up finding vanilla and peanut butter at Vons. They do not get it very often, but it is amusing.

I think I need to find Frosty Paws for Schatzi. Molly would never get her snout in a cup, but would probably have fun with it anyway! I've seen it at Publix, I think and somewhere else. I'll have to be on the lookout this week.

Paws raised here! Penny agrees with Schatzi! I have to admit we do get her her own ice cream

when we go out. We don't give her the whole thing, but she gets so excited about it! She hangs out of her car seat to get it when we get in the car

Brusters is where they give the dogs a very small scoop of ice cream in a cup with a dog bone on top. It is free when the humans purchase an ice cream. The first time Schatzi had it she was in heaven!!!

They had Frost Paws at our local Wal-mart the other day. It was right with the people ice cream. I was shocked

The ice cream Porky mentioned is called dog-zerts and it is from Schwans. It is beef flavored and totally lactose free which is why Porky can eat it. He loves the stuff and my husband sells A LOT of it. It looks exactly like human ice cream and comes in little cups.

I haven't heard of the Frosty Paws. Does it have milk in it?? If it does poor Porky would have to miss out on that one. Porky loves real ice cream, but he has a milk intolerance, so we have to treat him to a lactose-free version.
