 Well as all know we are about 1 week, yes 1 week  :hello2: :hello2: to handover of the house. Well we bought a fridge that would be OK for week-ends but as we are now set  to retire or semi retire at the lastest next June, we bought a large double door fridge freezer. It is said if you hang around in my kitchen to long you end up in the freezer. Now this large object is sitting in the front hall right next to the front door as its to big to go through the door to the back rooms and the lounge will not take anything else.
Cut to the chase, our fridge/freezer died on wed night.................. soooooooooooo we decided to get the small fridge out of the back room, photos to follow show it is a daunting task, plus we had to buy a small upright freezer to empty the other into. Thursday evening add two dachounds to the mix. OLiver nearly got a TV on top of him as we told him to move...........yes you guessed it up to the spot we were about to put it on,  then we lost Amy , turns out we had boxed her into  corner, then NIck while trying to clear a route for th efridge balanced the wooden bed slats on a unsecured box and they fell on his head. I must admit I thought he had passed out, thne add DR OLiver to the mix.
Its now SAt and it took us this morning to clear the resulting mess up, so we now have the small freezer where the new washing machine which is now sitting next to the fridge in the front hallway, roll on next week.

Oh, the fun of two houses worth of stuff in one house! I guess the bright side is you don't have to go shop for all of this after you move in, but I know you must be going crazy right now. I was wondering if you were close to moving in and now you have answered! It does seem our doxies have a way of getting underfoot at the worst of times. Schatzi always shows up in my way when I do NOT want her to. When I was on crutches for 3 weeks a few years ago was the worst. She was fascinating by the bandages on my foot and determined to be in front of me! Maybe you could put really loud bells on their collars for the next week???

I didn't realize it was this time already I'll bet you can't believe you are actually moving stuff in...well...maybe you can by now must have sunk in.  :thumb: Sounds like a dangerous thing though I think you and Nick and the kids should just go to your sisters and hire someone to finish the job for you. Heh. Thanks for the pics, I love seeing them your place is just awesome we're envious!
