Leopold is home.  He is still feeling some after affects from the anesthesia.  He's Mommy's groggy little doggy.

The good news is his dental -- no infection, no extractions, no cavities.  Just a little tartar to clean, and he won't need pain pills or antibiotics.

His leg is still the same.  Just about everything has been ruled out, and there isn't much it can be other than a pinched nerve.  He will be on steroids the next few days.  Let's hope he gets better!

Leopold christened the new car on the way home.  Because he is groggy, I think that perhaps he either didn't know where he was or maybe didn't kknow what he was doing, but he pooped on the floor of the car.  This made for a stinky ride home!

Poldie - sweet boy - we are sending rays and prayers that your leg heals up quickly.  Good job on your teeth !!!!!

Jeri - he was on Rimadyl last week - right?  Is he on prednisone this week?   With Rudy's episodes with his back, we found that Rimadyl really didn't help him, but the prednisone did.  Hopefully with Poldie it is finding the right med to help him feel better.

Poldie is just about out of steroids, and his leg is as bad as ever.  Although his he can't use his leg, the real problem is his back--he has a pinched nerve that isn't getting better.  The vet believes it will get better, but this has been going on for almost for weeks, and it hurts to see him go through this.  he is going to the vet tomorrow.

Rays coming to Poldie.  I can certainly sympathize with him on the pinched nerve.  Would accupuncture be a possible remedy?
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.

I was so hoping he was better.....sending rays in full force.  Let us know what the vet says...
