With all due respect to The Temptations...here is Zora's version:

I know you want to feed me, but you refuse to drop me food...

If I had to beg and plead for your sympathy, I don't mind because food means that much to me...

Ain't too proud to beg, sweet darling, please please feed me (Please drop me food)
Ain't too proud to beg, baby, baby, please please feed me (Please drop me food)

Ain't no mountain high enough,
Ain't no valley low enough,
Ain't no person smart enough. . .
Tp keep me away from food!

I'm doing much better with dachshunds and rabbits."

Zora usually does score at least a nibble once Jessica gets up and the crumbs, etc., hit the ground.   Occasionally, Jessica will actually toss food down to the Zs as she thinks it's funny watching them go after food.   Zora has no problem staying up on her hind legs for close to two minutes without even flinching!   Sometimes she tries to sneak in a bit too close to see if she can steal food out of Jessica's hands, but we put the kibosh on that.

...and yes DD, thank you for commenting on Zora's appearance.  Zora is pretty "buff", probably more so than any of the dachsies I've owned.   We found her perfect weight between 12 - 12.4 pounds and know exactly how much food to give her to keep her there.

I lived with that look for almost a week, and trust me, that much cute is hard to resist!  Go Zora!
