Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to give you an update on Daisy.  It was two weeks ago yesterday that she had surgery.  She went to the neurosurgeon for a recheck and to have her staples removed.  Poor girl what a traumatic ordeal that was for her!!!  She's doing well for the most part but she is still suffering some discomfort here and there.  They recommended that I take her to a few sessions of acupuncture.  They do it at the place where she had her surgery but that is a 50+ mile trip each way.  After all that we have been through I really want to get her to a few sessions to see if it helps.  Well it has been a wild goose chase but I found a place that does acupuncture that is about 30 minutes from the house.  You all just don't know how excited I was when I found this place!!!  The acupuncturist is out at a conference this week but she will call me next week to talk about Daisy.  Wish me luck.  I know as soon as I ask Daisy if she wants to go for a ride at this point that she is going to crawl under the bed!!!!  She was really mad at me after yesterday's trip!!!  Now if we can just get through another 4 weeks of no bones or toys.....she's being very sneaky about trying to get to toys and chewy bones!!!  Thanks again for all your encouragement and kind words.  Have a great day!!  Tina

That is wonderful news!! Rays continuing her way! I hope that the acupuncture helps her. We looked into it after Penny's surgery but she seemed to be recovering well so didn't' move forward with it. Keep us updated!

Tina, it sounds like everything is progressing nicely...yippie!!!!  So sorry to hear that it was traumatic for Daisy to get her stitches out :comfort:  Lots of people have wonderful things happen when they take their babies to acupuncture....it works wonders!!  Thank you for the update....good luck with the no toys no bones rule...lol.

Sounds like Daisy is doing great!! Sorry that it was so scary for her to get the stitches removed! The poor thing! But recovery is well on it's way!! Hang in there. I am sure before it is all over you are going to find out just how sneaky she can be all the while with the most adoring innocent look on her face!! Priceless!!
