Down in Homer, AK, where my sister lives, there is a restaurant at the end of Homer Spit called Lands End.  The first Friday of every month thru the winter they have a wine tasting dinner.  Dan and I are going down for their dinner on February 1st.  We will also treat my sister.  They just posted the menu for our night.  Get a load of this...........

Shrimp & Lobster Bisque
Shrimp and Lobster meat simmered with garlic, onions, carrots and celery in a rich cream with a touch of sherry, brandy and olive oil.

Oysters & Artichokes in a Champagne Cream
Poached Kachemak Bay oysters nestled on top of steamed artichoke bottoms with wilted spinach, draped with a fresh shallot Champagne cream.

Mixed greens with candied walnuts, red seedless grapes and a creamy gorganzola dressing.

Stuffed Filet Mignon
Filet Mignon stuffed with onions, garlic, fresh parsley, crab and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Topped with a King Crab bordelaise sauce and served with fresh asparagus and duchess potatoes.

YUMMY!! That looks so wonderful! I love wine tasting! I have a really good friend that lives in San Francisco and I visit her every couple of months. We have been to Napa Valley, Sonoma and Healdsburg...it is always so much fun!
