My dachshund tree......

This is my dachshund tree - it is in the dining room....    I try to collect at least one ornament each year.  The last couple I have ordered the Danbury mint ornament.....  Hopefully one day, I will have enough to do the big tree !!!!

. . .of course, it isn't complete without a doxie "marking" his very own tree.  I saw a leg-lifting Scottish terrier door stop in a catalogue recently.  Anyone ever see a doxie?

Very nice!  We have a number of dachshund ornaments, but we don;t yet have enough for an entire tree.  It's a worthwhile goal!

We do have the dachshund tree from Danbury mint.  I was so tempted for the dachshund room scene when Mom and Dad dachshund and the kids are putting out cookies for Santa, but we bought a (non-doxie) creche instead!

Love the dachshund tree! All Christmas trees should be decorated in dachshunds don't you think?  :thumb: I see a couple there I have and a friend last year made me a hat and scarf with that material you are using for a tree skirt.

Several have been gifts, I have ordered several from Danbury Mint (they have one a year) and I just keep a lookout where ever I go !!!
