Please keep those rays coming!  I think they're working.  Chilie pooped!  This is the first time since Saturday.  Although she hasn't had anything but some rice and chicken broth since Friday, I am encouraged by this.  It makes me feel better about it not being a blockage.  I washed her bed today to get rid of any germs that may be lurking in it.  I also gave Chilie a bath too.  I've also swept and mopped the kitchen floor just to make sure there aren't any "morsels" for her to pick up.  And poor Bunny has had to move to the garage for now because I don't want Chilie eating any of his poop.

We'll stay on the chicken broth for now.  Poor thing....she's not going to like getting NOTHING for Thanksgiving.  I will have to make it very clear to my guests that Chilie gets NO HUMAN FOOD that day.

Chilie says:  What do you mean I don't get any Thanksgiving dinner?!?!?!  Dat's abuse, I say!

I really hope she gets to feeling better quick!  Porky just got over being sick so i know what you are going through.  Maybe she just ate something that didn't agree with her.  That's what Porky's problem was.   I hope she continues to feel better!   :xfinger:  No human food on Thanksgiving is going to be rough for her.

Unfortunately, Chilie is still having problems.  She's been ok with chicken broth, but I haven't tried her on anything else since Monday night.  One of the local pet stores here recommended a new vet to me, and I have just made an appointment for first thing Friday morning.  They told me to try giving her boiled rice and hamburger.  If she can't keep that down before Friday, then they recommend we take Chilie to the emergency vet.  I'll keep everyone posted.

I'm sorry she still doesn't feel well.  I hope she gets better and can hold some food down by Friday!  Poor little Chillie!   :comfort:

Oh my goodness...I just saw this post and I thought Chilie was doing much better....Continued prayers and rays to Chilie :comfort:  At least we know it isn't a blockage.  Sweet Chilie, honestly, momma is trying to do the right thing by not giving you any human food for Thanksgiving...!!!

Poor baby.  I sure hope she's feeling better soon.  Just a note about the hamburger, you might want to ask your vet about feeding hamburger.  I've heard that it might be difficult to digest. Perhaps ground turkey might be a better choice.....but check with your vet.  I've just heard this.  I don't really know.

Yes, Sandy, meats are typically harder to digest than other foods.  I would stick to the broth and rice personally.   The hamburger could make things worse.  I hope you can have a Happy Thanksgiving and that Chillie feels better real soon.
