Ozzy Ate Part of a Halls Cough Drop!!!!

I've been battling an extremely sore throat for the past few days.  I thought I had my Halls well out of reach of Ozzy, but yesterday afternoon, I heard a crunching noise that did't seem right.  I ran to Ozzy and he had just started to eat one of my Halls drops.

I got most of it away from him, and he has shown no ill effects from it.  Is there anything I should be looking for?  It was a honey-lemon flavored drop.

It most likely won't hurt him.  My Rudy has gotten one from me before and also a tums......and had no ill effects.

You are right on - can't turn your head for a second - our little toots are FAST !!!!

I am sure if there had been any ill effects you would have noticed by now. I would have called my vet at the time it happened and ask. Just to be safe. Of course my vet is used to me since I have all these rescues running in and out.

Hall's is really just sugar and flavoring.  Nothing in there to hurt!  Cocoa is always stealing Rolaids and she usually gets the whole roll!  Never caused a problem. 

These doxies will eat anything!

There is actually something in them that if you over use them can burn your throat and mouth.  Not sure what it is but it happened to my sister and the Dr told her her sore throat was from too many Halls.
