Minna is getting spayed today!

My little girl is going under the knife today.  I dropped her off at the vet's office at about 7:45 and they will probably keep her overnight.  She was wagging her tail and giving the vet tech kisses when I left.  She doesn't seem to be stressing, but I am.  I know she will be fine and I have already gone thru this with my other girls and actually with Max as he had a testical that didn't drop.  They will let me know when she is out of surgery and how it went.  Please send me some spare rays so that I can concentrate on work and not worry too much.   :crazyeyes:  I will keep you all posted as I get news about her later today.

Nikki - always scary when they have any kind of surgery - please let us know as soon as the vet calls.

I just talked to the vet's office and she is doing fine and may can come home tonight!  I will have to call later this afternoon to see.  Thanks for the rays.

I'm happy to hear that she is doing okay.  Its always a relief when they come out of surgery.  How is Max doing with all the new siblings?  I bet he is still his mama's No. 1 boy.

 Poor Max!  He is the only male in a house full of females.  He is still mama's boy.  He is my sweetie and will always be.

Great!  Hope she gets to come home tonight!  I dont know what I would've done if Cajsa had had to stay overnight after her spay.  I was worried something fierce the two nights she's been away from me in the vet hospital for other reasons.

Well, I just called the vet's office and while they assured me she is fine, he likes to keep them over night for observation.  The tech was very quick to tell me that nothing was wrong, she is doing fine and there is nothing to worry about.  I had been prepared to leave her overnight as that is what they originally told me.  However, when they told me earlier that she might get to come home today, I got my hopes up.  Oh well, what ever is best for the baby.  I will get to pick her up tomorrow.

That is great news.... I know you would like your baby home, but at least if they keep her there over night she will be home for good than. :apls:

I am taking off until next Tuesday, so I can go get her in the morning.  I wanted to be able to stay at home with her for a few days.
