Patches is staying at 14.2 pounds she has been on diet dog food for about 4 months now that it is starting to get cooler we are going out walking almost everyday. I do give her green beans, carrots & pumpkin but she does not like those items very much she acts like she is starving all the time. I caught her eating a Kleenex the other day, I feed 1/4 cup diet dog food in the morning with about a Tablespoon or less of ground Turkey or the sausage or lean hamburger meat feed the same in the evening. I hate to cut her back more than what I' m already feeding her. Of course she still hunts worms and eats them when she can.

Never thought of counting kibble pieces Patches is not going to be a happy camper she has improved some she does have a defining  area behind her ribs she use to bestraight on both sides. I sometimes wonder about the vet scales I just cannot feel her ribs.Really not sure how much she should weigh.I'm just trying to get her to the feel your ribs next time we go to the vets will ask what she is suppose to weigh.
Thanks for the idea of counting the kibble.
