Momma sez, " you are a goof!!"  She's been watching eat dese last few days and noticed somefing she calls stwange.   I don't fink its stwange at all.     :scratch:  Momma fills up my food dish and den i start chowing down.  I always start chomping the food on the right side of da bowl first den i work my way all da way to da bottom so it wooks wike I spwit da food zactwy in haff.   Den after it wooks good I start eating on da leff side.  is dat stwange?   Or is is just momma bein weird again???

No its not stwange! I eat my food da same way.  split it in half and eat it in a perfect line.  Mama calles me OCD.  :idiot: Do ya know what that means- I don't??  I bet it means that I am the boss or somethin'.

Good I'm da onwy one.  Fank da Lord!!!   I hafta eat if dat way odderwise it just adoesn't taste wight.    I hab wots of wittle fings i do wike dis. My bwankies hab to be folded just so, I hab to line up my toys in a row, and I can onwy eat my favorite food bwoccowi if its fwozen.    :idiot:  Anybody else hab cwazy OCD??

Oliver here, I just make a mess mum says its  a waste of time putting it in a bowl, maybe if she gave me more!

Amy I eat from the outside into the middle and clean my plate as I go, not like my slob of a brother, I always manage to get a mouth full off what he leaves in the bowl. Iz a little lady

I wike to take a few kibble out of my bowl and lay them in the hallway.  After I do dat DEN I eat the rest of my dindin.  I didn't used to do dat at all before I lost my fwend, Dowwy.  Mommy sez I'm offering Dowwy kibble befores I eat.  She doesn't weely eat it, so after I'm done with my bowl, I go back and eat the kibble in the hallway.

My girl Maddie is the strange one.  Not only does she offer food to whomever invisible in the hallway but when she goes up steps, she always skips the last one.  Sound superstitious to me.

Both my two eat the same way....they put kibble in their mouths and carry it off to another place on the carpet and eat it there.  After they are finished with their mouthfulls, they go back to the bowl and do it again and again.

Porky likes to carry his food to the carpet too.   LOL  I thought one day, what would happen if I put his food on the carpet to begin with.  When he starts eating his food on the carpet, he takes his mouthful into the kitchen on the linoleum floor.     Look at this way, they are buring off those calories as they eat them.

Our two couldn't be more different.  Champ is the food hog and Smokey is the delicate eater.  When it is people food they will eat anything from me and act like it is the best cut of beef.  Carrots broccoli beans .... anything.  When my husband tries to give them the green stuff they just smell it and look away.  When it comes to kibble it is even more convoluted.  Champ will not eat in any kennel or fence or xpen or anything that he cannot walk away from.  We have his bowl by the washing machine.  He will take a mouth full of kibble and find anyone in another room and he will drop the food on the floor and eat it at their feet.  He then returns to the bowl and does this all over again until it is gone.  (The worst thing is sitting on the couch and getting a wet mouthful of kibble dumped on your lap!) Smokey will not eat out of his kennel or a bowl on the floor.  We put Smokey's bowl in Champ's kennel and he will eat till its gone.  No need to remove the bowl from Champ's kennel because he refuses to eat in any sort of enclosure.  So Champ's food is in another room and Smokey's food is in Champs kennel go figure.  :idiot:

That is exactly the way mine eat, pack up a mouthfull like a chipmunk walk away spit it on he floor and the eat it!!  FUNNY

SO not Penny! She is a hoover and the minute I put her food down it is gone! She doesn't even chew 1/2 the time!

Schatzi carries her food around too-like into our bedroom and up on the bed!!! We always laugh at her when she does this. It is amazing how much food she can hold in her mouth and how dry it stays on the trip. She has been known to go back and forth several times! I swear, that dog doesn't like to eat alone!!!

Sounds like we need another support group, here.  BOTH of my monsters "eat on the run" ... take mouthfuls of food, spit on the carpet in the living room or hallway, then leisurely eat.  Keeps my Dyson busy on crumb patrol

When Champ roams with his food I hate finding the kibble that he drops under the counter, fridge, stove, chairs...... the list goes on.  I know he's lost one when after a few hours there is an ant trail to the bit of food.  Other than the dog food on the floor we do not normally have problems with ants.  Champ will finish every bite lest the little dog gets some.  He will normally get EVERY last crumb ...... that he can reach.  His fat head will not fit under the sofa although he tries.

Zeke eats the same way Porky Pie does.   He just eats until the kibble is gone on one side of the bowl, and then moves over.  Zora eats so fast that we can't tell how she does it.   It's more like inhaling than eating.  Her best time for downing 1/3 cup of kibble is 18 seconds.

Clifford did that way back when I was feeding him Science Diet.  Since switching to Solid Gold 7 years ago he eats it right down.
