My boys have started marking in the house....again.  They went through this about a year ago and I bought belly bands with elastic at PetSmart.  Clever little furkids figured out how to get them off in no time.
Patty, I know that you bought some for your boys.  How did they work?  If you like them could you let me know where you got them from?

Petco & Petsmart both carry them here.   :thumb:  They do still try to mark but your floor and furniture is protected.  Although the attempted marking did cut back over time.  Now with Zeke gone, Zack doesn't tend to do it unless someone (who shall remain nameless) has an accident because she wouldn't go outside.
Hope this helps.

I bought them from a lady who sells them on Ebay.  I sent her the boys waist size and she custom-made the belly band.  They had the elastic on the edges.  I cut a sanitary napkin in half and stuck it inside the belly band.  The belly bands still slipped down, exposing the boys' little PPs.  I think I would like the non-elastic belly bands better.  They are a great idea, but need to evolve more to be really useful.  I think I would have gotten better results by tying a bandana around their waists.

I think I would get better results putting a rubber band around their little pe....  Oh never mind!

Of course, in order to keep them from slipping down, one should use suspenders.

Actually lederhosen was originally a belly band design for Teckels, which were later adapted for little boys!

rubberband a sanitary pad around it....  LOL !!!    :2funny:

Maybe something wider than the belly band normally is, lined with 2 sanitary pads.....  or the little panties like Jenny's Lucy wore.....not manly, but maybe will get them through this phase....

We used the ace bandage style bands with Smokey and Champ that you wrap around about 300 times  :cussing: .  They did not stay up on Smokey because of the big doxie chest and his skinney waist.  Champ alias the Fat One did not have the skinney waist and therefore he would litterally push it off over his tail and be walking free in less than two minutes.  I also tried the plastic lined flannel ones with the pads but again they would not stay up on either dog.  I was looking at the harness that we got for Champ the other day and i might be able to add something that would hold the bands up and not let them slip off like Suspenders.  :thinik:
