"Someone" has a birthday coming up. Hallie cruised the net and this is what she picked out.

In lieu of that she says she'll take a 16 hh Friesian stallion. Oh wait maybe that is on her Mom's "wish list"

Hee. Yeah she pulled a fast one on me when she was 2. We were in a pet store and she leaped into one of those big soft donut beds. When I called her to come out she raised one front paw at me. (melllting mommy).  When I said no really honey come out...she sat up and reached both front paws straight up in the air. Then she rolled onto her back. We kept calling her out but she just kept striking cute poses. (the sales person took a photo of her for their front desk). So I of course had to buy her this $80 bed she loved so much. When we got home I set it up by her window waiting for the satisfaction of seeing her sink into her beloved new bed with a contented sigh. She didn't want anything to do with it. She wouldn't lay in it for weeks, now it's one of three bed options she has upstairs and she does lay in it while I am painting.  :thumb:

I can see a repeat performance with this $2K bed LOL!

LOL!! That is so funny! Penny loves her snuggle ball bed we got at DrsFosterSmith. She would rather be in that under a blanket than sitting with one of us!

LOL!!! That's too funny. I can just see her all snuggled up in there. Does Tucker ever snuggle with her? Hallie has to be with me all the time which is why she has a bed every spot in the house where I might light myself. She is the first pet I've had that I haven't found a 'breaking point' on where she gets tired of all of my fawning on her. She takes all I give and gives even more back, she has good stamina lol! My other kids would eventually get to the point where they were going "Moooom, we need a little "me time".

I thought of getting a snuggle ball bed but they look hard to get into? It's probably easier than it looks, I worry about her jumping in or out of the beds, her donut bed has folded up blanket "stair steps" into and out of it with the un-stair stepped sides blocked off. (Good gosh, we have messed up this breed so much we have to go to such lengths! :( ). The snuggle balls sure do look comfy. I am going to take her shopping for a new bed or blanket this week she doesnt' really need one but I don't know what to get her for her birthday this year, she already has everything!

Actually the snuggle ball beds look really high at first but they squish down into that perfect shape. No jumping involved!!

Tucker says "NO WAY" to snuggling!! They don't actually get along all that well - they tolerate each other. Penny thinks he is a toy that needs to be chased  :verdict:!

Amy has petuttie mats all about the place as she does not like sitting on tiles. We havve to get another to leave at my mums as the they have travels 3 hrs each way, so I plan to get one here and let them get their smells on it before I take it down.

Terri it's probably a good thing we didn't see this bed in person because if she sat in it and didn't want to come out I'd probably be morgaging the house...

Barb, Mom said I was getting tons of stuff I hope it's mostly food! We're having a party for me at my Grandmas with my cousins and aunt and uncle. I hope I get to pig out all day! My cousin Rachel is spending the night too. Last year everyone sang birthday songs to me and I stood there looking up at everyone with my tail wagging, I was really trying to say "shut up and serve the cake!"

I second that Papbouv, the bed almost cost as much as my house did when I bought it 24 years ago too! LOL yeah that is the kicker in this, Hallie of course sleeps in the big bed with me (or I should say I sleep in there with her!). She is such a cuddler I hate to go to sleep I want to stay awake all night and cuddle with her. She's so funny in the mornings, she wakes me up by standing on my chest and staring down at me with a smile and wagging tail, as soon as I wake up I get smothered with kisses, then she goes upside down right next to me and lays her head across my throat. So the Mohogany bed would be more ornament than functional...

Aunt Lauri and the bratpak!!! I think Hallie is now wanting the *ahem* Friesian stallion more than the bed.  We thought of you last night, my cousin (who has the Friesian) Haflinger mare foaled yesterday so we went out to take some photos. (SO CUTE amazing to be sitting there scratching his neck and him gumming my shirt when a few hours earlier he wasn't even born yet). Got some shots of the Friesian too and Saturday I got hired to take photos of Rembrandt babies that are for sale. Plus the big Friesian show going on this week...I'm getting my Friesian fix! Here are a couple shots of Miss Joy and her new baby boy.

Patty isn't it amazing how they can be in the womb one minute and an hour later be enjoying a butt scratch and gumming you with their toothless little mouths. Instinct is an incredible thing and way beyond me!

Marcia I came up with this to keep people from stealing my art and photos from the net. I forgot to do it with the first three. I have found so many people selling my art on their merchandise online (they take them from the net and remove my copyright so the merchandise isn't very good quality since they didn't have a high res version but they still do it). I was hoping by putting this puzzle design over the top it would take too long for someone to clone every little line out but you can still see the image ok...

I really love these pictures. Can't pick my favorite out of these. His eyes are just gorgeous!! I think the puzzle idea is a good one. That should slow someone down quite a bit and even if they take the lines out, it would be hard to keep it from being obvious that something hasn't been changed. It would be a lot of cloning to have to do.

That's what I am hoping Theresa, does it bother you or can you see the image detail fine? I am hoping this works for my art especially. Yes he has really pretty bluish eyes and he's so sweet! He has a nice mom too :)

Karen we just had a paso fino/peruvian paso show here but Hallie and I didnt' make it to that one this year.
